Big Bear Camp & Trail Ride

Bring your families and camp with us at Juniper Springs Group Campsite in Big Bear! There is great hiking, biking, off-roading and lots of other fun things to do. The campground offers a large group site for tent camping ONLY. It can accommodate up to 40 people and eight vehicles. Standard SUVs or vehicles with four-wheel drive and/or higher clearance are required to access the campground.
Location:
Take 38 East out of Mentone.
Go through Angeles Oaks and over Onyx Peak.
Just past Onyx Summit (aproximately 1.5 miles) turn right onto 2N01.
The trail to the campground is aproximately 3 miles - you will drive for 2.4 miles and then take a trail off to the right and up to the camping site.
Camping: 0 vehicle spot left!

The site is equipped with:
- Picnic tables and a campfire circle.
- A large grill is also available.
- Vault toilets are provided.
- Trash collection and drinking water are not available. (Pack in and Pack out)
Camp sites will go to those who register and pay for them on a first come first serve basis. If you want one of these spots it will be $90.
Vehicle:
Any SUV or higher clearance vehicle can get to the camp ground.
High clearance for many of the trails and 4wheel drive and lockers for some of the offshoot trail possibilities.
Off-Roading

We will be doing exploring the north side of Big Bear.
After registering up, we will send a follow up email with more information; campsite info, etc.... and options to pay.
