Join us in Colorado where we will be camping, hiking, and four wheeling some epic trails.

 

Ouray, Colorado—known as the "Jeep Capital of the World" and the "Switzerland of America" will serve as our base for an unforgettable overlanding and camping trip. This itinerary focuses on four iconic high-alpine passes: Imogene, Ophir, Engineer, and Cinnamon. These routes deliver jaw-dropping scenery, historic mining remnants, ghost towns, wildflower meadows, and and some amaizing off-roading..

Imogene Pass Trail Statistics:

16 miles

13,114 feet at highest point

5,434 elevation gain

4,419 elevation loss

Difficulty rating 6 (Scale of 1-10)

Moderate

Uneven rutted dirt trail with loose rocks, sand, erosion, and washes.

Water crossings, steep, rocky and narrow paths, ledges and steep grades. 

 

Ophir Pass Trail Statistics:

2500 elevation gain

3600 elevation loss

Difficulty rating 4 (Scale of 1-10)

Easy to moderate

Uneven rutted dirt trail with loose rocks, sand, erosion, and washes.

Narrow, Rocky shelf road.

 

Cinnamon Pass Trail Statistics:

36 miles (by way of Corkscrew and California pass to get to Cinnamon Pass)

Difficulty rating 3 (Scale of 1-10)

Easy to moderate

Uneven rutted dirt trail with loose rocks, sand, erosion, and washes.

Possible shallow water crossings, small ledges and short steep grades. 

 

Engeneers Pass Trail Statistics:

Difficulty rating 5 (Scale of 1-10)

Moderate

Uneven rutted dirt trail with loose rocks, sand, erosion, and washes.

Possible water crossings, steep, narrow and rocky in places.
